Homcoming is over but the memories still live

What a week and weekend. Being sick on Monday made the week seem short but I did not fail to enjoy myself. I dress up for almost all the days. Tuesday turned in to a Patrotic day. With elections and all that patriotism I enjoyed it. My memory from that day was our JROTC doing a drill show. I remember when Jessi used to do that. Of course her drill team was much better but thats beside the point. Wednesday was fun. I dressed up like a cowgurl with my leapord print cowboy hat, plaid shirt, jeans, and above all my sneakers. My friend greatly apperciated seeing me in that outfit. Now he's trying to get me in some real cowboy or just plain boots. We'll have to see about that. Thursday was sports day. Not very many people dressed as brastic as on Wednesday. I pulled some LAX stuff. I took my stick to school and tried not to hit anyone.
Then the week came to a close with Friday. The Busiest day this year. Homecoming week always ends with the big Friday Spirit day. A lot of people had beads and wore purple, black and gray. Of course the band was all matching in their Revolution t-shirts. There was a pep rally. (now call spirit assemblies) I didn't go cause I just want to be cramed in the gym with about 2,000 other people. See what I mean. So afterschool I hung out with my friends and just kind of sat and relaxed before the real fun began. Myself, Kristen and Chris all walked up to the elementary school, that where the parade was starting, so we could be on the Choir Float. That was about a 25min walk. (I got some exercise) The Choir float looked awsome. All in black with neon grafete all over it. Me and Chris carried the banner while Sam, Choir Rep, sat in a nice car behind us, with the float and the party people behind him. The parade started at 4:30ish, I really don't know when we actually got rolling but we made it back to the school at around 5:30ish. (I got even more exercise oh but the weekend is not over yet) It was a cold night and we were playing University, our biggest rival. Both bands were great. But I liked our band even more. The Wolves played a hard game. But in the end we won, 24-7. It was a great game. I didn't see any of the third quarter cause I was talking to my band friends. The game seemed to go by really fast compared to other games I have been at. I got in late and went straight to bed. I was really tired. Saturday I got up and went to Mount Dora with some friends of Amber's. We went around to many different antique shops. It was a beuatiful day for it. I got some laughs in and got a chance to relax. (I got more exercise walking around everywhere) We got back around 4:45pm. It was mad rush to get ready for the evenings event. I sat on the bathroom floor for about an hour while Amber did my hair. But the end result was amazing. I got plenty of comments on it at the dance. I went over to Katie's house and had pictures. There was 5 of us. We got to the hotel with little trouble. There was a lot of people there. But it was fun. The DJ was ok. Everytime the crowd got really roudy he would play a slow song. I didn't mind. I got to dance with Josh, Zach, and Mike. (The guys just seemed so tall) I saw alot of my friends and they looked great. Tiana wore Converse with her dress. It seemed that Me and Her were the only girls that keep our shoes on the whole time. I am glad now that I had to wear flats. The theme was Havana Nights. The decorations were good. They did not over do. They even had pretty good food but I was so busy enjoying myself that I didn't try any of it. Now I did not dance the whole night I did take some breaks. The Homecoming king and queen did have their dance. I did not see them for everyone was in the way. But it was a long night. It felt so short and I was so wired when I got home, I think the nap in the car home was a help. Well as tradition goes, I slept as late as I wanted this morning, I slept time 11 o'clock. Then I took out my hair. For all of those who were guessing on how many pins I had in my hair, the count came to 42 pins. So today I have HW to do. Oh that will be fun.
