Happiness and Weirdness

Today is Josh's Birthday.

Anyways back to why I was writing. I was just reading my History Book(yes I am doing HW) and I read what President Wilson said to a bunch of Business Leaders in the context of Washington envisioning a harmonious, stable order of Democratic societies that would welcome both American liberal political values and the expansion of American Capitalistic enterprise. Well this is what he said: " You are Americans and are meant to carry liberty and Justice and the principles of Humanity wherever you go... Go out and sell goods that will make the world more comfortable and more happy, and convert them to the principles of America."
Ok so now you are thinking why is that important. Well listen to what the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) says: "Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the end of the ages."
Well see the similarities. I do and I hope I am not just falling off my rocker. Reading that just seemed so wierd to me. A president of the USA making a speech similar to the one of Christ to the Diciples. Well anyways just thought ya'll should know that freaky revolation of mine.
